Alexandru Vlad, Vice President of Fildas-Catena Group, was awarded with the “Up and Coming Personality of the Year” trophy at the Forbes Romania – Personality of the Year 2024 Gala. The distinction reflects his vision, dedication and outstanding performance in the field of pharmaceutical distribution and retail in Romania.
The award was given to him by Beatrice Dumitrașcu, CEO Residential Division One United Properties, and recognizes his inspirational leadership and contribution to the development of the Fildas-Catena Group, the strongest player in pharmaceutical distribution and retail in Romania.
The Forbes Romania – Personality of the Year 2024 event recognizes excellence in business, highlighting the personalities behind the greatest economic achievements. In his speech, Alexandru Vlad thanked Forbes for the award and talked about his beginnings in the Fildas-Catena Group, as well as the respect he has for all the Group’s employees.
“Eight years ago, I started to get actively involved in the Fildas-Catena Group and I began with a year in which I spent a lot of time not only in each support department, but also going to our pharmacies and warehouses. What influenced me the most to make the decision to be 100% committed to this business was the dedication and passion I saw in everyone I interacted with and worked alongside. My respect for them is infinite, these are the people I stand by, for me the responsibility is as much to them, as it is to the patients. I realized immediately how huge this responsibility will be, and it is a great, great honor for me to dedicate myself, in the long term, 100% to them – to my colleagues in the Group and to the patients. I wish for us to remain the most dynamic and strongest pharmaceutical company in Romania”, said Alexandru Vlad.
